What can I do for you?

I am a North-West based freelance web designer and I work from my home office which means I have minimal overheads, no staff to pay and easy access to tea and biscuits - which is comforting. Consequently, my services are competitively priced, I am easily accessible and you will only ever converse with me, not a PA or any office staff. I am committed to providing the best service for my clients as I firmly believe that even in this technological age, old fashioned reputation and word-of-mouth are still king - if I provide a good service then my clients say good things about me. Also, I care deeply about producing the best websites possible for clients tailored to their needs. My work is out there on the net for the whole world to see so, therefore, it is an indictment on me.

Why do you need a website?

There are many reasons for having a website. See 'Questions?' in the menu for a full answer but, if you think that the whole thing is just too complicated to set up- it isn't. Cyberfrog Design creates tailor-made and completely original websites specifically suited to your needs from scratch and can guarantee to help you achieve your online presence quickly, cost-effectively and professionally.

  • www.festivaloffirsts.co.uk is an excellently designed and very informative website. For the 2011 Festival, it included an up-to-date list of and information on events, and profiles of poets, artists and musicians, with links to their websites. Richard Davies deserves a sustained standing ovation for the work he did to make the website so powerful.99

  • 66From discussion of initial thematic ideas and what we wanted to project as our public image, to the implementation of the final website, we were impressed with the creative and technical input at all stages of the process. We would have no hesitation in recommending Cyberfrog Design to others. We even gave Richard a 'Thank you' credit on our forthcoming album!99

  • 66We received 100% commitment from Cyberfrog; we told the designer what we needed from a website . . . and he did it in super-fast time. The level of customer service is second to none, it was refreshing to know that you can contact him at any time through the development process with a question knowing that you'll always receive a helpful answer. We, being musicians, knew little about web design, but with help and support from Cyberfrog we really got more than we could have dreamed of. 99

  • 66I'd like to thank Richard for the terrific job done in helping to promote my business through the design of my website. From our initial meeting, when Richard took time to understand my business and the image I wish to portray, to the excellent finished product, I have received a thoroughly professional and tailored service. I am more than happy to recommend Richard to other Companies within the industry.99

Things I'll do
  • Give an initial consultation and advice for free;
  • Make an effort to learn something about your business/organisation and listen to your ideas, visions and goals for your website;
  • Be honest about whether I am the best web developer for your needs – I might not be;
  • Provide an informal but professional service throughout to ensure you get the website you want;
  • Give unbiased advice on domain name registration and web hosting – I am not on commission from anyone;
  • Produce an elegant, professional-looking and, above all, user-friendly website designed to your specifications;
  • Provide follow-up support and services should you need them.

Things I won't do

  • Work for free – no one does that so please don’t ask;
  • Compromise your website by cutting corners to save me time – my clients are my reference;
  • Try and convince you to pay for something that you don’t need;
  • Accept any work that encourages either harm or hate, expresses extreme political stances, views, opinions or practices which I think are oppressive;
  • Have anything to do with Marmite - it's an engine lubricant.
