Women’s Organisation Enterprise Hub

Business support website design

The Women’s Organisation Enterprise Hub is a team of expert advisers offering free professional advice and guidance to residents or new businesses in the Liverpool City Region. The Hub helps new business owners feel confident at each stage of their business journey, and can provide support with undertaking market research, forecasting income, developing business plans, securing funding, and employing staff.

What was needed?
The project brief... Visit the website

Cyberfrog has been a supporter of, and contributor to, many the Women’s Organisation events and initiatives over the years. This website was intended to promote one of the Organisation’s key offerings, namely, business support for new businesses. Although this service appears on the Organisation’s main website, the message was somewhat lost amongst other content, so a dedicated site was need in order to make this offer and the Women’s Organisation’s message clearer.

What we considered
The Challenges... Visit the website

With so much information to communicate to website visitors it was going to be vital to have tightly honed content that was direct, succinct and informative. People would be visiting the site for different reasons so ensuring content was carefully compartmentalised and clearly demarcated would be key in ensuring visitors could find the information and support they were looking for quickly and easily. Clear calls-to-action were also required to increase the likelihood of website visitors making contact for support.

What we did
Our Solution... Visit the website

We advised on effective content delivery. Initially, the copy identified a need in the visitor (e.g. Start a Business) and then communicated the actual services provided by the Enterprise Hub. Most importantly, it was made clear what visitors would actually gain and take away with them after receiving support. The inclusion of case studies also helped visitors see what could be achieved using real life examples of people who had succeeded in business with help and guidance. The site was designed adhering to brand guidelines and with a ‘nod’ of a relationship with The Women’s Organisation’s main website.

How it turned out
Outcomes... Visit the website

Business support website design: The result is a website that successfully communicates the off from the Enterprise Hub and efficiently communicates what visitors can learn and develop by engaging with the Organisation. Peripheral content, such as resources and events, project the Organisation as a viable and useful body with which to become involved. The site has a general message which encourages collaboration and partnership, with the aim of helping Liverpool City Region businesses flourish and grow during the difficult pandemic climate and beyond.
