Industrial recruitment provider: PSI Global Recruitment deliver a seamless recruitment service for various industrial sectors, and take the time to understand workers’ expertise to place them in the right role, and understand clients’ needs to place the right worker in the right positions. The company offers construction and industrial recruitment services for contract and permanent roles, and for both blue-collar and white-collar roles.
This was a brand-new project and no website existed beforehand. PSI’s main focus was to attract interest from industrial workers and industrial companies in order to help them with securing jobs and for developing workforces. Central to the website was a third-party recruitment software integration which would enable website visitors to browse jobs on the website while PSI’s recruitment staff managed listings from the software’s dashboard.
In addition, the design and the content of the site really had to sell the company’s ethos and philosophies and client-centred approach to all its operations.
From a design point of view, creating a sector appropriate website appearance was important to PSI – i.e. it had to look the part amongst some stiff competition online. It had to attract the right people, encourage engagement and, consequently, applications for listed jobs and enquiries from industrial employers.
A further challenge was the seamless integration of the recruitment software and liaising with third-party developers and consultants.
After a series of meetings with key people at PSI and directors, we created three different home page approaches which adhered to pre-existing brand guidelines. These designs were the discussed and one was chosen which was used as a springboard for the rest of the website.
We worked closely with the third-party recruitment software developer to integrate the jobs board listings. This software was new on the market so there were a few integration teething issues which were all ultimately resolved.
The directors were delighted with the final design as it reflected their ‘message’ while sending out a strong visual brand identity. The website is also being used as a hub for an extensive marketing campaign by the company’s marketing executive. The jobs board integrations allows recruitment staff to manage all jobs listings offsite on the recruitment software with having to interact at all with the dashboard of the website which saves admin time while website visitors can see all available jobs as part of the website interface.
