Interior designer website design: Metal Sheets Ltd have worked with copper, brass and other sheet metals for since 2008 and work closely with industry and interior designers, architects, contract furnishers, and individuals to create high quality products for a range of hospitality settings.
Metal Sheets had a website that was pretty old but was doing well in search engine results. The old site was a bit ‘industrial’ so the company needed something that lent itself more to attracting interest from interior designers and architects. Much of what they do is bespoke and this needed to come over in the design and content of the site.
One concern was maintaining the website’s visibility in search engines when the new site was launched. In addition, the design of the site needed to have a highly visual appearance, be slick, and demonstrate that the company works closely with professionals who need their products and services – it had to be much more than ‘we make metal sheets’ and properly demonstrate the company’s capabilities.
We opted for a big and bold approach to straplines and imagery in order make an impact when visitors arrive. While demonstrating and promoting the range of products and metal finishes available, we decided to use as much imagery as possible to show how interior designers and architects have used Metal Sheet’s products, i.e. ‘this is what you get in the end’.
Also, using a full screen menu we were able to show visitors the entire contents of the website on one screen. This aids navigation and makes for an impressive appearance.
Interior designer website design: After we had completed the website, we ensured all redirects were in place to preserve the website’s positions on Google. We performed some onsite SEO and referred Metal Sheets to our SEO campaign partner at Search Creative to manage an ongoing marketing campaign.
This is one of our favourite sites we’ve done recently, and Metal Sheets are using it consistently to good effect for their marketing initiatives.
