Security company web design: INS Protect, a subsidiary of the Integrated Network Service umbrella, has over two decades of expertise in the field of IT, networking, and CCTV. With a commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions, INS Protect offers an array of services including CCTV installation, monitoring, maintenance, access control, and a full suite of networking services. Their focus is not just on providing network connectivity, telephony, access control, CCTV and IT support; it’s about understanding the intricate ways in which these services influence business operations.
Despite being around for years providing a range of IT services, INS were keen to push and promote their security services. With a handful of big clients, they required a dedicated security website to publicise this arm of the business. With its own brand identity, INS wanted something slick, distinctive and professional for their marketing initiatives.
Purple. Purple is a really difficult colour to design websites with. It’s hard to read dark and light text on a purple background, which is why you don’t see many purple sites. The other key challenge was to try and design something distinctive and dynamic – IT and security, while important, could be considered a little ‘dry’. How to present security services in an exciting way?
We opted for a highly visual concept with use of large imagery for a striking impact. The purple was subdued somewhat with darker hues and a graphical ‘network’ element. Text is in short, concise, sections to aid the reader, and effective use of ‘whitespace’ (even though its dark) makes the content on the site easier to consume. Each service was given its own page to act as landing pages for SEO purposes and also meant navigation was clearer for website visitors. Calls to action on every page makes the customer enquiry process straightforward.
One of the key objectives of this website was to convince potential clients that INS Protect know what they’re doing and can provide a good service. Case studies of their top contracts were included as social proof and INS now have a resource that successfully attracts new clients. As this was a brand new site, and not a redevelopment, it started from the bottom. After a few months live, and some offsite marketing, the website is now generating new business for INS Protect.
