Web design for apprenticeships company: Through Seed Skills’ tailored apprenticeship programmes, they provide learners with the knowledge, skills, and applied experience they need to excel while helping employers build engaged, high-performing teams that drive growth and innovation. Seed Skills specialise in apprenticeships for those look for careers in education and coaching.
Seed Skills as an apprenticeship provider needed a website that would successfully showcase courses and training for people looking for a career in education. The website needed to target learners and employers and project a professional and contemporary impression to website visitors. In addition, the website was intended for employers looking for new recruits as well as upskilling existing staff.
The main challenge was the design of the site and striking the right balance between professionalism and approachability. A visual brand identity needed to be developed as there were no full brand guidelines to work with, only a logo. Other challenges included navigation to ensure different users reached the information they were looking for effectively.
Using the logo, we developed a full colour swatch and various graphical elements. The colour concept was chosen to imply ‘growth’ as well as tying in with the company’s name.
Subtle animations were used to add dynamism, and pages were set out in clear sections to aid reading and text compartmentalisation.
Course details were set out in a consistent framework and content was clearly sectioned so website visitors could quickly and easily find relevant information.
Web design for apprenticeships company: The outcome was a site that had a good balance between professionalism and openness which ensures that enquiries come from all the target audiences. The chosen colour scheme meant that Seed Skills have a visual brand identity that can be applied to other marketing materials. Courses for those looking to go into education, and those for leadership courses are doing their job of ensuring Seed Skills are generating the interest that we set out to achieve.
